Our Mission

"MotoVermont is a community of riders committed to safety, skill, and adventure — helping every rider, from first-timers to seasoned veterans, discover Vermont and the world on two wheels with confidence."

Introduction

MotoVermont promotes adventure motorcycling in, and around, the beautiful state of Vermont.

MotoVermont provides motorcycle rider training, educational workshops, and comprehensive event services. We are also a retailer of high-quality motorcycle apparel, safety equipment, and bags/packs including Klim Technical Gear and Leatt Protectives.

Our History

2011: Eric Milano began MotoVermont as a passion project, combining two of his favorite activities: riding motorcycles and exploring the beautiful and historic (and often forgotten) areas of New England. To share his passion, Eric began with two motorcycles that quickly became a fleet of twenty offer rider education and rental opportunities.

2014: Eric began the MotoVermont Rider Training Program with renowned off-road instructor, Bill Dragoo. In 2016, Eric and long-time employee, Spenser Peterson, launched their first "out-of-region" moto tour in New Mexico.

2018: The Backcountry Discovery Route (BDR) organization tapped Eric to help develop the "Northeast BDR Route." Along with the help of four other incredible volunteers, that project was ultimately completed in 2020.

2024: The BDR organization reached-out again. Due to the success of the NEBDR, the BDR organization was interested in developing a new route through the Adirondack region of upstate New York State.

2025: MotoVermont expanded to create a new independent entity, MotoVermontTours, LLC. led by Richard "Dick" Mitchell.

2026: The "Adirondack BDR-X" was recently completed and released for riders to explore!
